The Tracked Sources page gives you a full view of every source Scrapest is monitoring on your behalf — across all platforms and all API keys.

The Table

Each row represents one tracked source with the following columns:
  • Source — the display name and, where applicable, the username (e.g. Elon Musk / @elonmusk)
  • Platform — a colour-coded badge: Twitter (blue), Discord (indigo), Telegram (teal)
  • API Key — the name of the API key this source is associated with
  • External ID — the platform’s internal identifier for the source
Use the controls at the top of the table to narrow down what you see:
  • Platform filter — show only Twitter, Discord, or Telegram sources
  • API Key filter — show only sources associated with a specific key (filtered by key name, not the raw key value)
  • Search bar — real-time client-side filter on the current page; matches against source name, username, external ID, and API key name
Filters combine — you can filter by platform and API key simultaneously.

Pagination

The table shows 20 sources per page. Use the < and > buttons at the bottom-right to navigate pages. The total source count is shown at the bottom-left.

Track a Source

  1. Click “Track Source” in the top-right corner.
  2. Select the platform (Twitter, Discord, or Telegram).
  3. Enter the source identifier — the label changes based on the platform:
    • Twitter → Username (e.g. elonmusk)
    • Discord → Channel ID (e.g. 123456789012345678)
    • Telegram → Channel Username or Invite Link (e.g. @channelname or t.me/invite/…)
  4. Select the API key to associate this source with.
  5. Click “Start Tracking”.
The new row appears in the table immediately as a placeholder. Behind the scenes, Scrapest fetches the source metadata (display name, profile info) through a processing queue — the placeholder updates with real data within a few seconds.
Tracking goes through a background queue. If the row shows the raw identifier instead of the display name immediately after adding, wait a moment and it will resolve automatically.

Untrack a Source

  1. Click the menu on any row.
  2. Select Untrack.
The row is removed from the table immediately. Scrapest stops monitoring that source — no further events will be delivered to the associated webhook.
